Winter League Championship Rules Clarification
If you have won the overall section in our Winter League Championships, you must enter the next level up the following season.
1. If you won the overall Prelim dressage class last year, you MUST enter the Novice class this year.
2. If you won the overall 70cm show jumping class last year, you MUST enter the 80cm class this year.
3. You can enter lower classes, but only as HC.
Warminster Saddle Club offer weekly group riding lessons that your child can join on an ongoing basis. An assessment lesson will take place first, to assess your child’s ability to ride. On successful completion of the assessment lesson, we will then reserve a space in the group lesson best suited to your child’s abilities. This is a weekly commitment that is required to be paid for on a monthly basis. In the event that the desired group lesson for your child’s needs is at full capacity, we will then place you on a waiting list until a space is available. We pride ourselves in improving your child’s riding ability, therefore, we do ask that if you wish to sign up for the lessons, you are fully committed.
Our class lessons are 45 minutes long and run on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Weekday lessons start at 4pm with beginners (lead rein) and then advance in ability throughout the evening with the last lesson on a weekday starting at 7pm. Saturday group lessons start at 10am and vary in ability throughout the day with the last lesson starting at 3pm.
Private or semi-private (up to 6 people) lessons take place during the day on weekdays only and can either be 30 or 45 minutes long. We do not run any lessons on a Wednesday as this is the horses’ day off, nor on a Sunday, as we have competitions with both schools in use.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer hacks for the foreseeable future.
