February Half Term Holiday Courses

Monday 13th     

Dressage Day                                   10am -3pm                                           £40          £50
This course is designed to explain the mysteries of dressage.  It will include learning a dressage test, riding it in competition conditions and then learning how to improve for the next time.  It will include learning how to prepare the pony, tack up and general care of the pony.  This course is recommended if you would like to compete in the minimus league in the summer.

Tuesday 14th

Show Jumping Day                                                                                       £40           £50
This course will prepare you for learning how to compete at show jumping.  It will include the preparation and tacking up of the pony, walking the show jump course, warming the pony up and then learning how to jump a course of jumps, followed by a jump off course.  This course is recommended if you would like to compete in the minimus league in the summer.

Pony Club Centre D/E Test                                                                          £25
A training and examination day for pony club centre members only.

Thursday 16th 

Own a Pony                                    10.00am – 3.00pm                                 £35           £45

Come and look after one of our ponies as if it was your own.  Learn how to muck out, groom, clean tack and much more. To include a 45min ride.  Please bring a packed lunch. 

Thursday 16th

Sophie Dickinson Clinic                 9.00am – 11.00am                                 £20          £25
Please note that these prices are for those on their own horse, if you would like to join on a Saddle Club horse please add on £10.  
The sessions are run in 2 groups for an hour each,  max 4 people per group. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Friday 17th

Competition Preparation Course                                                                £30                   

Only open to Warminster Saddle Club members wishing to compete on our horses/ponies.
Learn how to tack up, look after and compete on one of our horses/ponies.  On successfully completing and passing the course, you will be issued with a certificate allowing you to compete on one of our ponies.

For all the above courses please bring a packed lunch.  Under 10 year olds must be accompanied by an adult for the whole course.
